Work Group Members l Work Plan l Stewardship Initiative l Meetings l Meeting Summaries Purpose: Based on the recommendations of the Comprehensive Conservation and Management Plan and the 2003 Long Island Sound Agreement that the Long Island Sound Study identify sites of significant biological, scientific, and recreational value throughout Long Island Sound, the Stewardship Work Group is charged with developing a strategy for recognizing these sites and coordinating efforts to protect or enhance them.
